Privacy policy

Effective date: September 13, 2026. This policy covers smgp.co. It is issued by Skyline Media Chicago, LLC, Chicago, Illinois, which does business as SMGP and Skyline Media Growth Partner.

What this site collects

We collect only what you choose to send us and what a website needs to run.

  • Contact form. When you submit the form, your name, work email, company, message and other fields you complete are sent through n8n, our automation platform, to our team in Slack and our lead records in Google Sheets so we can reply.
  • The on-page chat. Your messages are sent to SMGP's n8n automation server and Anthropic, whose AI model answers from our published information. Chat messages are also sent to our team in Slack. If you share contact details, we may create a lead record in Google Sheets to follow up. Messages may be retained in Slack and automation execution logs. Do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
  • Activity notifications. When you use the chat, begin filling out a form, or select a contact or meeting action, we may notify our team in Slack through n8n. These notifications include the action, page, time and a random session identifier. Starting a form does not send us what you have typed; form contents are sent when you submit. Automatically displaying the chat panel does not send an activity notification.
  • Browser session storage. We use session storage to retain recent chat messages, remember when you close the panel, and avoid repeating activity notifications during your visit. This storage normally clears when you close the browser tab.
  • Call bookings. Booking a strategy call runs through Calendly. The details you enter there are handled under Calendly's own privacy policy and shared with SMGP so we can hold the call.
  • Testimonials. The testimonial wall on the testimonials page is delivered by Senja, which may set its own cookies when that page loads.
  • Server logs. Like every website, our host records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, which we use to keep the site running and secure.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies, to record page views and the booking event in aggregate so we can see which pages lead to calls. We do not sell or rent this information.

How we use it

We use what you send us to reply to you, to schedule and prepare for calls, and to improve the site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named above, who process it on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Lead records and inquiry messages are kept for as long as there is a business reason to keep them, such as an open conversation or a client relationship. Slack messages and automation execution logs may retain chat and form information under the retention settings of those systems. You may request deletion using the contact details below. Our hosting provider retains server logs under its own settings.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing contact@skylinemediachicago.com. You can use the site without the chat, without the form and without booking a call.
