Situation

The BRVC Company helps purpose-led brands in entertainment, lifestyle and workforce development grow. Its founder and CEO, Brianna Régine Walston, delivers strong results for purpose-driven organizations. New business was the bottleneck.

Referrals drove nearly all new revenue, so the pipeline rose and fell on luck. Brianna knew outbound had to become part of her growth engine, and she had tried. Doing it herself ate 10+ hours a week and produced too little. A previous lead agency took the budget and returned no clients.

She also had a line she would not cross. She wanted new clients, but not through pressure tactics or anything she would describe as icky. The outreach had to sound like her firm and sell the way she sells.

What we built

Two systems working together: cold email that teaches instead of pitches, and an appointment setter who protects the founder’s calendar.

Education-first cold email. We emailed the exact companies and job titles BRVC wanted to win with useful teaching content, not a pitch. The first touch offered a short playbook on turning a purpose-led story into steady revenue, and asked for nothing more than a reply. Interested replies came in warm because the first touch gave value. Our working framework here is a free lead magnet tied to the client’s core offer, a credibility anchor, and value up front so the reader gives permission before anyone sells.

Separate sending domains and verified addresses. The campaign ran on dedicated domains and mailboxes, so BRVC’s own domain never carried risk. Every address passed verification before a send.

An appointment setter on every reply. The setter interviewed each interested lead, filtered out poor fits and booked qualified introductions straight onto Brianna’s calendar. She never chased a reply, and she only joined calls with people who already fit.

Sales that match her values. Brianna set the boundaries and we built the outreach inside them, then tested and optimized week over week.

A bonus deliverable. We supported production of BRVC’s first white paper, The Nonprofit Growth Engine, an extension of the firm’s brand journalism and a remarketing asset it keeps using.

Results

The engine filled the calendar, and the calendar turned into revenue. BRVC put in $12,000 and got back $67,337 in closed revenue, a 5.59x return and a 458% ROI. Across the engagement the program produced 200+ leads, meaning interested replies from cold email, 100+ qualified interviews run by the setter, and 20+ sales calls booked on Brianna’s calendar. Three new clients closed, which works out to $4,000 per client acquired.

It kept compounding. One of the three clients started as a 3-month engagement, extended to a 12-month contract and added project work on top.

Brianna described the change in her public review: “I had some success on a small scale, but lead generation is truly a numbers game - and Skyline Media helped me turn that concept into a strategy that actually works.” On the way it was done: “Lucas has been an agile, thoughtful partner who respects my boundaries around ‘icky’ sales tactics while still bringing the expertise and creativity needed to test, optimize, and push toward our shared goals.” And her recommendation: “I highly recommend Skyline Media to companies looking to reach their next level with a transformative partner who not only drives results but does sales in a way that aligns with your values.”

What we would do next

  • Add a second lead magnet for a second segment. The playbook worked for one slice of purpose-led brands. Each new segment gets its own useful first touch.
  • Put the reply desk on the copilot. With the setter’s qualification questions written down, our reply copilot can draft the first response to every interested reply for one-click approval, and the setter spends the time on interviews.
  • Draft proposals with AI. We later built BRVC an AI agent that drafts a near-final proposal from discovery notes, so a qualified call turns into a proposal the same day.
  • Layer in LinkedIn. The people who replied to the email get a connection request and a short note, so the firm stays visible between the first call and the signature.

Sources and method. Source data: the BRVC engagement tracker and the client’s public testimonial on senja.io, January 2026. Leads are interested replies from cold email. Qualified interviews are calls run by the appointment setter. Revenue is contracts closed by BRVC from meetings this engine booked. Shared with permission. The BRVC Company is named with the client’s approval, and the quotes are verbatim from Brianna Régine Walston’s public testimonial.
